YouTube CEO is stepping down, Neal Mohan to replace her
YouTube Chief Executive Officer Susan Wojcicki announced that she would be stepping down after nine years at the helm of the world's largest online video platform. In a blog post, she said she is starting "a new chapter focused on my family, health and personal projects I'm passionate about." Her association with Google goes long back, she was Google's first marketing manager.

YouTube's Chief Product Officer to head the company
Wojcicki mentioned YouTube Chief Product Officer, Neal Mohan, will take over the leadership role. Indian-American Mohan joined Google when it bought ad company DoubleClick in 2007. He rose up the ladder to become YouTube's Chief Product Officer in 2015. He played a pivotal role in launching YouTube TV, Music, Premium and Shorts. Wojcicki won't be leaving YouTube immediately and will help with the transition.

Before joining Google, Mohan was Senior Vice President at DoubleClick. He earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He also holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University. In the past, he has worked with companies like Accenture and Microsoft. Interestingly, he serves on the Board of Directors for 23andMe which has been co-founded by Wojcicki's sister, Anne Wojcicki.
