Spock e-scooter launched, looks like a perfect delivery vehicle
Gurugram-based Li-Ions Elektrik Solutions has launched its first electric scooter, the Spock, in India at a starting price of Rs. 65,000. With a basket on the front and a cargo box on the rear, the scooter looks like a perfect eco-friendly vehicle for doorstep deliveries. Meanwhile, it is powered by a 2.9kWh swappable battery and promises a range of 130km. Here's more.
Let's take a look at the Spock
Going by the design, the e-scooter seems like a perfect eco-friendly option for door to door deliveries, thanks to its bulky cargo box on the rear and a spacious basket on the front. The scooter comes with a digital instrument panel along with a USB charger, Anti-theft alarm, and GPS navigation. Moreover, it has a kerb weight of 90Kg and a wheelbase of 1,350mm.
Power and performance
The Spock is powered by a 2.9kWh Lithium-ion swappable battery which churns out 2.1kW of maximum power and 230Nm of peak torque. The electric scooter offers two riding modes: an economy mode which promises a range of 130km on a single charge and a power mode that promises 100km. Meanwhile, the battery can be fully charged in around four hours.
On the road
For braking performance, the Spock houses disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. To handle the suspension duties, it sports telescopic hydraulic forks on the front along with twin hydraulic suspension on the rear. Moreover, the scooter promises a top speed of 45kmph and also offers a reverse mode for parking assistance.

In India, the Elektrik Spock is available at a starting price of Rs. 65,000 and goes upto Rs. 1 lakh. The company will begin the deliveries of the scooter from today itself. Meanwhile, it will lock horns with Ather 340 and BattRE e-scooter.
