The benchmark Sensex and Nifty indices on Wednesday saw gains, marking a 3-day winning streak. While the Sensex rose 1.28% to 58,683.99 points, the Nifty jumped 0.99% to 17,498.25 points.
Also, the midcap indices showed positive signals with the Nifty Midcap 50 gaining 87.15 points, or 1.07%, to close at 8,132.1 points.

As far as the top sector gainers are concerned, NIFTY MEDIA, NIFTY FIN SERVICE, and NIFTY REALTY topped the list, edging up 2.23%, 1.92%, and 1.5%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the top stock gainers were Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Life and TATA Consumer Products, which climbed 3.8%, 3.69%, and 3.05%, respectively.
ONGC, Hindalco, and JSW Steel lead the negative pack, plummeting 5.26%, 4.99%, and 4.82%, respectively.

INR climbs by 0.09% against the US Dollar
On Wednesday, the Indian rupee (INR) edged up 0.09% to Rs. 75.91 versus the US Dollar in the forex trade.
Meanwhile, both gold and silver futures witnessed a rise. The price of gold futures rose 0.58% to Rs. 51,110, while that of silver futures climbed 0.57% to Rs. 67,326.
The crude oil futures edged up by $2.11 or 2.02% to $106.31 per barrel.
