The stock market closed in green on Tuesday with the Sensex gaining 246.47 points to settle at 54,767.62 and Nifty ending 62 points up at 16,340.55.
The midcap indices showed positive signals with the Nifty Midcap 50 gaining 48.35 points, or 0.61%, to close at 7,891.85 points.

Who were the biggest winners and losers on Tuesday?
Among the top sector gainers in the stock market were Nifty REALTY, NIFTY PSU BANK, and NIFTY PVT BANK, gaining 2.49%, 2.24%, and 1.16%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the top stock gainers were Axis Bank, Apollo Hospital, and M&M, which climbed 2.26%, 2.09%, and 1.91%, respectively.
ONGC, HDFC Life, and Nestle emerged as the biggest losers, dropping 2.77%, 1.34%, and 1.32%, respectively.

The fuel prices in Delhi remain unchanged on Monday, with diesel priced at Rs. 89.66/liter and petrol costing Rs. 96.76/liter. Meanwhile, in Mumbai, diesel is priced at Rs. 94.25/liter while petrol costs Rs. 106.29/liter.

INR goes up 0.05% against the US Dollar
The Indian rupee (INR) edged up 0.05% to Rs. 79.93 versus the US Dollar in the forex trade, recovering from its record low of 80.0175 in Tuesday's early trade.
On the other hand, the gold futures witnessed little movement, ending flat at Rs. 50,374, while the silver futures tumbled 0.34% to Rs. 55,900.
Meanwhile, the crude oil futures ended flat at $99.2/barrel.
