Sensex rises 934 points, Nifty settles above 15,600 points

The stock market on Tuesday closed in green as the Sensex rose 1.78% to 52,532.07 points while the Nifty climbed 1.85% to 15,638.8 points.
Mimicking the broader market trend, the midcap indices also showed positive signals with the Nifty Midcap 50 gaining 199.25 points, or 2.76%, to close at 7,231.55 points.

As far as the top sector gainers are concerned, NIFTY MEDIA, NIFTY PSU BANK, and NIFTY METAL topped the list, edging up 5.2%, 3.9%, and 3.82%, respectively.
Furthermore, Titan Company, Hindalco, and JSW Steel emerged as the top-performing stocks, edging up 5.93%, 5.52%, and 4.7%, respectively.
Apollo Hospital emerged as the biggest stock loser after dropping 0.09%.

Crude oil prices rose by 1.74% to $110.82 per barrel
The Indian rupee (INR) depreciated by 0.12% to end at Rs. 78.07 against the US Dollar in the forex trade on Tuesday.
Also, the gold futures witnessed little movement, settling flat at Rs. 50,760, while the silver futures jumped 0.55% to Rs. 61,080.
The crude oil future prices surged by $1.9, or 1.74% to $110.82 per barrel.

The fuel prices in Delhi remain unchanged on Monday, with diesel priced at Rs. 89.66/liter and petrol costing Rs. 96.76/liter. Meanwhile, in Mumbai, diesel costs Rs. 97.26/liter and petrol is priced at Rs. 111.33/liter.
