Sensex plummets over 1,000 points, Nifty barely holds 16,200 points
The stock market ended on a bearish trend on Friday with the Sensex crashing to 54,303.44 points and the Nifty plummeting to 16,201.8 points. Who were the biggest gainers and losers on Friday?
The biggest stock gainers on Friday were Grasim, Apollo Hospital, and Asian Paints, which climbed 1.29%, 1%, and 0.69%, respectively. Coming to the major losing sectors, NIFTY FIN SERVICE, NIFTY IT, and NIFTY SERV SECTOR emerged as the biggest losers, plunging 2.29%, 2.22%, and 2.16%, respectively. Kotak Mahindra, Bajaj Finance, and HDFC lead the negative pack, plummeting 4.03%, 3.94%, and 3.77%, respectively
INR slipped 0.09% against the US Dollar
The Indian rupee (INR) depreciated by 0.09% to end at Rs. 77.83 against the US Dollar in the forex trade on Friday. The gold and silver futures prices finished in red. While the gold futures dropped to Rs. 50,818, silver futures tumbled to settle at Rs. 60,900. Meanwhile, the crude oil futures ended flat at $121.98/barrel.

Here are the fuel prices in Delhi and Mumbai
The fuel prices in Delhi remain unchanged on Friday, with diesel priced at Rs. 89.66/liter and petrol costing Rs. 96.76/liter. Meanwhile, in Mumbai, diesel costs Rs. 97.26/liter and petrol is priced at Rs. 111.33/liter.
