The stock market on Tuesday ended on a mixed note. Sensex fell 0.07% to settle at 73,953.31 points, and the Nifty rose 0.12% to end at 22,529.05 points. Who were the biggest gainers and losers?
Among the top sector gainers in the stock market were NIFTY METAL, NIFTY PSE, and NIFTY COMMODITIES, gaining 3.73%, 2.06%, and 2.01%, respectively. Meanwhile, the top stock gainers were Hindalco, Coal India, and Tata Steel, which climbed 4.82%, 4.47%, and 3.93%, respectively. Nestle, Hero MotoCorp, and IndusInd Bank emerged as the most losing stocks, falling 1.64%, 1.29%, and 0.97%, respectively.

INR goes up 0.04% against the US Dollar
The Indian Rupee (INR) climbed 0.04% to end at ₹83.31 against the US Dollar in the forex trade on Tuesday. Meanwhile, both gold and silver futures slipped, with the prices of gold and silver dropping to ₹73,900 and ₹94,100, respectively. The crude oil future prices declined by $0.32, or 0.41% to $78.65 per barrel.

Fuel prices in Delhi remain unchanged on Tuesday with diesel priced at ₹87.66 per liter, and petrol at ₹94.76 per liter. Meanwhile, in Mumbai, diesel costs ₹92.13 per liter, and petrol is priced at ₹104.19 per liter.
