Sensex climbs 567 points, Nifty settles near 19,690 mark

On Tuesday, the stock market had a bearish opening but the benchmark Sensex and Nifty indices witnessed a surge. The Sensex jumped 0.87% to 66,079.36 points while the Nifty climbed 0.9% to 19,689.85 points. Who were the biggest gainers and losers?
Among the top sector gainers in the stock market were NIFTY REALTY, NIFTY PSU BANK, and NIFTY METAL, gaining 3.85%, 2.04%, and 2%, respectively. Meanwhile, the top stock gainers were Coal India, Adani Ports, and Bharti Airtel, which climbed 5.25%, 3.47%, and 2.63%, respectively. The biggest stock losers were IndusInd Bank, Cipla, and TCS, which plunged 0.58%, 0.32%, and 0.23%, respectively.
