Sachin Tendulkar launches his own sports management company
Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has launched his own sports management company "SRT Sports" to manage his post-retirement business. The company will manage his business engagements, which were earlier managed by World Sports Group (WSG). The company will also look after the retired cricketer's Indian Super League team Kerala Blasters. Tata Group's former senior executive Mrinmoy Mukherjee will be the CEO of SRT Sports.
ISL team, digital game, sports consultancy for Sachin
Post his retirement from cricket, Sachin has kept himself busy in various activities. He co-owns ISL team Kerala Blasters. Sachin has been investing in various start-ups. He also has opened two restaurants. He has also entered digital world with his game 'Sachin Saga', which will allow gamers to re-live moments of Sachin's career. The batsman has joined Spartan International as an investor and adviser.
Sachin splits with WSG
Sachin Tendulkar's management firm World Sports Group (WSG) has wound up their operations in India, thus ending ties with the former cricketer. Sachin also had a split with his manager of 16 years, Vinod Naidu.

Sachin said that during his cricketing career, he did not indulge in anything else other than cricket. He added that he has got a dedicated team at SRT and would look forward to exciting new initiatives.

Mrinmoy Mukherjee, CEO of SRT Sports said that the management would be built around trust, transparency and performance. He said, "the effort is to fortify the brand persona around Tendulkar and build win-win relationships with the associated brands." Mukherjee added that he has the right team with diversified skills and values that the brand Tendulkar symbolizes.
