Royal Enfield Bullet Trials 500 launched at Rs. 2.07 lakh
Royal Enfield has launched the Bullet Trials 500 in India at Rs. 2.07 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Bullet Trials, featuring a retro design, arrives as an off-road version of the old, rugged Bullet 500. The bookings for the motorcycle have already commenced and its deliveries are slated to start from today. Here are the details.
Royal Enfield Bullet Trials 500: At a glance
The Royal Enfield Bullet Trials 500 comes with a cruiser body, an attractive paint job and a lot of chrome work which adds to the retro look. It sports a halogen headlamp, LED taillamp, an analogue instrument console and an upswept exhaust pipe. With a 13.5 liter fuel capacity, the bike runs on dual-purpose wire-spoked wheels.
Under the hood
The Royal Enfield Bullet Trials 500 is powered by a 499cc air-cooled, single-cylinder motor that generates 27.5ps of power at 5,250rpm and 41.3Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and promises a mileage of 40kmpl.
Royal Enfield Bullet Trials 500: Safety and control
In terms of braking performance, the Royal Enfield Bullet Trials 500 gets a 280mm disc on the front and a 240mm disc at the rear along with dual-channel disc brakes. Further, it comes with a single downtube chassis and offers telescopic forks in the front along with a 5-step adjustable twin shock absorbers on the rear side.
Pricing and availability
Alongside Trials 500, Royals Enfield has also launched Bullet Trials 350. It's priced at Rs. 1.62 lakh while the Bullet Trials 500 costs Rs. 2.07 lakh. The pre-orders for the motorcycles have already begun and the deliveries are slated to start from today.
