Amid increased strain, Reliance Jio increases JioFiber network capacity
Reliance Jio has increased the network capacity of its JioFiber fiber-to-the-home broadband service in the Delhi/NCR region. The move aims to cope up with increased data usage during the lockdown period and provide reliable connectivity to all its users in the region. Recently, the telco has also started providing a free 10Mbps broadband connection to new users as part of its #CoronaHaaregaIndiaJeetega initiative.

JioFiber is offering a free broadband plan for all the new users where its services are active. The plan provides 10Mbps of speed for the first 100GB data and thereafter, users get unlimited access to the internet but at 1Mbps. Reportedly, the plan is valid for 30 days, and users have to pay a security deposit as well as installation charges.
Jio has also introduced double data offers for mobile users
Jio has also upgraded its 4G mobile data vouchers to offer more bundled benefits. The Rs. 11, Rs. 21, Rs. 51 and Rs. 101 4G data packs now offer up to 12GB of data and up to 1,000 minutes for non-Jio calls.

JioFiber offers a total of six broadband plans ranging from the entry-level 100Mbps Bronze plan worth Rs. 699/month to the top-tier Titanium pack which costs Rs. 8,499/month and offers 1Gbps speed. Depending on the plans, you get free voice calls, video calling, gaming, and exclusive entertainment services such as free annual subscriptions of OTT apps, Jio VR, and Jio First-Day-First-Show service.

Further, as part of the company's Welcome Offer, all the customers who opt for annual plans get more benefits. Depending on the plan, customers get a free Jio Home Gateway device, a 4K set top box, two months of extra service, double data benefits, as well as some free products such as Bluetooth speaker, HD TV and a 43-inch 4K TV.
