Ahead of tariff hike, Jio launches Rs. 1,776 All-in-One prepaid-plan
Just ahead of the upcoming price hike in prepaid services and products, Reliance Jio has introduced a new All-in-One pack worth Rs. 1,776. The new plan, offering benefits such as 2GB data per day and a total validity of 336 days, is essentially the same as Rs. 444 All-in-One pack subscribed for four times. Here's all about the plan.
The plan offers 4,000 minutes for Jio to non-Jio calling
If you are looking for a long-term plan that offers more IUC calling minutes, the Rs. 1,776 plan should meet your requirements. The premium pack offers 4,000 minutes for non-Jio calls along with 2GB data per day, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, and 100 daily SMSes. The validity of this recharge is of 336 days and you also get free access to Jio's suite of apps.
The new plan joins the existing All-in-One plans
The Rs. 1,776 pack joins the already existing All-in-One prepaid plans that are available in the denominations of Rs. 149, Rs. 222, Rs. 333, Rs. 444, and Rs. 555. These lower-value plans offer upto 2GB data/day, upto 3,000 IUC minutes, and upto 84-days of validity.
Meanwhile, Jio will increase prepaid tariffs from December 6
Meanwhile, in a statement, Jio has said that its recently-launched All-in-One plans will become costlier by upto 40% and the new tariffs will come into effect from December 6. However, the telco said the company will offer upto 300% more benefits to compensate for the increase in tariffs. Notably, Vodafone-Idea and Airtel have already introduced new prepaid plans with increased rates.
Jio is yet to announce its revised plans
Though Jio has confirmed the price hike in its prepaid services, it is yet to announce the revised plans. We expect the telco to make the information public pretty soon, considering the new plans will come into effect from Friday.
