Jio's postpaid plan offers ISD calls at 50paise/minute: Details here
Reliance Jio has unveiled a new postpaid plan for Rs. 199. The one major offering of this plan is providing users with the ability to make ISD calls without the need of any kind of activation or security deposit. It is "India's first zero-touch service experience" with international calling being pre-activated. It offers international calls for just 50 paise/minute. Here are the details.
The new postpaid plan will be available from May 15
Other standard offerings of the plan include 25GB of high-speed 4G data per month, free voice calls, unlimited SMS, and a premium subscription to the Jio suite of apps. The new postpaid plan will be available from May 15.
Jio's new series of postpaid plans called JioPostpaid
This comes under Jio's new series of postpaid plans called JioPostpaid, which are offering four plans at Rs. 199, Rs. 575, Rs. 2,875, and Rs. 5,751. Aimed at providing special benefits to international travelers, the plans offer international calling at 50 paise per minute and international roaming starting Rs. 2 per minute for voice calls, Rs. 2 per MB for mobile data, and Rs. 2 per message for SMS.
The postpaid plans are available in select countries
The Rs. 575, Rs. 2,875, and Rs. 5,751 postpaid plans are valid for one, seven, and 30 days, respectively. Subscribers can avail JioPostpaid plans in international locations like the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Thailand, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Germany, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Turkey, New Zealand, Philippines, Hungary, Greece, Portugal, Romania, Czech Republic, and Ireland.
