Reliance Jio launches new 5GB daily-data plans for JioLink users
Reliance Jio has introduced three new plans for JioLink, a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot service, which is yet to be launched officially. Currently, JioLink is available at Rs. 2,500 for testing under preview offer, in select regions. And for those who own a JioLink, the company has unveiled Rs. 699, Rs. 2,099 and Rs. 4,199 plans that offer 5GB daily data. Here's more
About the Rs. 699 JioLink Plan
Under the Rs. 699 plan, Jio is offering 28 days validity where users get 5GB daily data i.e. 140GB total data, along with complimentary access to Jio suite of apps. Additionally, as part of Jio's 'Double Dhamaka' offer, users will get 500MB extra data per day. Notably, once the daily data cap of 5GB is exhausted, internet speed will be reduced to 64Kbps.
What's the Rs. 2,099 JioLink plan offering?
Under the Rs. 2,099 plan, you get 5GB daily data, a validity of 98 days and a complimentary subscription to Jio apps. Additionally, Jio's "Double Dhamaka" plan is also applicable, meaning you get 500MB extra daily data. Lastly, once you exhaust the daily limit, speed will be throttled to 64Kbps.
About the Rs. 4,199 Plan
The Rs. 4,199 plan also offers 5GB daily data but with a longer validity of 196 days. You also get extra 500MB daily data as part of "Double Dhamaka". Hence, you effectively get a total of 1,076GB data through the validity period. Lastly, you also get free subscription to Jio apps, and the speed will be reduced to 64kbps once daily-data limit is reached.
