    What's the story

    Reliance Jio is celebrating its eighth year in business with a range of special offers for its subscribers.

    The telecom giant is offering benefits worth ₹700 on select quarterly and annual plans, valid from September 5 to September 10.

    These benefits can be availed on recharges of ₹899, ₹999, and ₹3,599 plans as detailed on the company's website.

    Users will get 3-month Zomato Gold subscription

    The special offers from Reliance Jio include an OTT and Data Pack worth ₹175, which provides a 10GB data voucher and access to 10 OTT platforms for 28 days.

    Additionally, subscribers can enjoy a three-month Zomato Gold membership at no extra cost.

    An AJIO voucher offering a flat ₹500 discount on orders of ₹2,999 or above is also part of the anniversary celebration benefits.

    Data limits and validity of special plans

    The ₹899 and ₹999 plans from Reliance Jio come with a daily data limit of 2GB, valid for 90 days and 98 days, respectively. The higher-priced ₹3,599 plan offers a daily data quota of 2.5GB for an entire year (365 days).

    Reliance Jio's significant growth and future plans

    Over the past eight years, Reliance Jio has accumulated a user base of 490 million subscribers, handling 8% of global mobile traffic.

    The company revealed that data consumption per user on its network exceeds 30GB per month. Notably, Jio now accounts for 60% of India's data traffic

    At the recent 47th AGM, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, stated that Jio aims to double its revenue and EBITDA in the next three to four years.

    Reliance Industries is also planning to introduce a Jio AI-Cloud Welcome offer, which will provide 100GB of free cloud storage for Jio users starting this Diwali. This upcoming service is part of the company's ongoing efforts to enhance its digital infrastructure and capabilities.
