Jio, Airtel and Vodafone: Best prepaid plans for hardcore callers
All leading telecom operators in India have updated their catalog of prepaid services to generate more revenue. The modified plans are estimated to be costlier by up to 47% and in some cases, they come with fewer freebies than before. Here, we take a look at some monthly and yearly prepaid plans from Jio, Vodafone, and Airtel that offer unlimited calling benefits.
Vodafone's best prepaid plans that offer unlimited calling benefits
Right of the bat, the Rs. 199 pack by Vodafone is great. It provides truly unlimited calling benefits to any number within India for 24 days. It also offers 1GB data/day that should help you stay updated with your social media feeds. There is also a Rs. 1,499 annual pack which offers free calling for 365 days but with 24GB total data benefit.
Airtel's noteworthy prepaid plans for heavy callers
Airtel's Rs. 149 pack provides truly unlimited calling benefit for 28 days, 2GB total data, and 300 total SMSes. The plan also offers freebies like complimentary access to Airtel Xstream app, unlimited Hellotunes, and free Wynk music membership. The telco also has a Rs. 1,498 annual recharge plan which gives you unrestricted calling for 365 days and a total of 24GB data.
Airtel's Rs. 1,498 pack offers some interesting freebies as well
Alongside the annual validity and unlimited calling benefit across India, the Rs. 1,498 pack offers free access to Airtel Xstream app (premium), unlimited free Hellotunes, free Wynk Music membership, a complimentary 4-week course on Shaw Academy, Rs. 150 cashback on FASTag, and smartphone anti-virus protection.
Reliance Jio doesn't offer truly unlimited calling benefits
Unlike Airtel and Vodafone, Reliance Jio doesn't offer truly unlimited calling benefits. The Rs. 129 pack provides unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls and 1,000 minutes for non-Jio calls. It has a validity of 28 days and offers 2GB data. There is also a Rs. 1,299 plan which offers the same benefits as the Rs. 129 pack, but with 356 days validity, 24GB data and 12,000 minutes of non-Jio calling minutes.
