Realme X to be available today via Hate-to-Wait sale
The recently launched Realme X is set to go on its first official sale in India on July 24. However, the Chinese tech giant is hosting a Hate-to-Wait sale, for those fans who can't wait to buy the handset, quite literally. Under the sale, the phone will be available today at 8 pm on Flipkart and Realme e-store. Here's more.
What's so special about this Hate-to-Wait sale?
The Hate-to-Wait sale will be a flash sale wherein limited units of both the 4GB and 8GB RAM variants of the Realme X will be available. Buyers ordering via Flipkart will get 10% discount using SBI credit cards along with Paytm First Membership, while those buying via Realme e-store will get benefits worth Rs. 7,000 from Reliance Jio and 10% MobiKwik super cash.

To recall, the Realme X sports an all-screen design achieved by adopting a pop-up mechanism for selfie camera. On the back, the gradient finished panel houses dual cameras and LED flash. The phone flaunts a 6.53-inch full HD+ AMOLED display, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, an optical fingerprint sensor, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Moreover, it will be available in Polar White and Space Blue colors.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
In terms of optics, the Realme X houses a dual rear camera setup comprising a 48MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture and 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Up front, it has a 16MP (f/2.0) single selfie camera packed in a pop-up module. Further, the main camera can shoot 4K videos at 30fps while the selfie camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps.
Under the hood
Powering the Realme X is a Snapdragon 710 octa-core chipset, paired with upto 8GB RAM and upto 128GB storage. Under the hood, it packs a 3,765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 (20W) fast charging support using which the phone can get fueled up by upto 55% in just 30 minutes. Notably, the handset runs on Android Pie-based ColorOS 6.
Connectivity options and sensor details
Talking about connectivity options, the Realme X comes with support for dual-SIMs (Nano), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port and headphone jack. Lastly, it packs all standard sensors including accelerometer, proximity, and compass.
Finally, what about pricing?
As for the pocket pinch, the Realme X starts at Rs. 16,999 for the entry-level 4GB/128GB storage variant, while the top-end 8GB/128GB storage model is priced at Rs. 19,999. At this price point, the handset goes up against rivals such as Redmi K20, Samsung Galaxy M40, Motorola One Vision, and Vivo V15.
