
OYO's SUNDAY Hotels aim for 100 properties by FY26
What's the story
Oravel Stays, the parent company of OYO, is poised to fast-track the growth of its premium brand, SUNDAY Hotels.
The firm has ambitious plans to expand this brand to 100 global properties by the end of FY26.
Launched in May 2023, SUNDAY Hotels is already operational in 10 countries including India and UAE. The expansion strategy focuses on both business and leisure destinations.

SUNDAY Hotels: A premium venture
SUNDAY Hotels is a joint venture between SoftBank Group and Oravel Stays. The brand is a collection of four-star and five-star hotels across the globe.
It made its India debut with an opening in Jaipur, followed by expansions into Vadodara, Chandigarh, and Gurugram.
Currently, Oravel operates 13 SUNDAY Hotels across India.
Growth strategy
Global expansion fueled by demand
An Oravel spokesperson told PTI, "There are 30 SUNDAY Collection hotels already open across 10 countries including India and the company is planning to ramp up the expansion in FY26, targeting to reach 100 hotels across these countries."
The global growth of SUNDAY Hotels began in August 2024 with the opening of SUNDAY Holiday International Hotel in Dubai.
This was soon followed by the launch of SUNDAY Lansbury Heritage Hotel in the UK.
