Honda launches new CB300R in India at Rs. 2.41 lakh
Bike lovers, rejoice! Honda has launched CB300R, its first motorcycle to take on players in the 300cc category. The new two-wheeler from the company looks stunning and builds on the design of a typical cafe racer with modern touches. It has been priced at Rs. 2.41 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Here's all about the new CB300R.
Bold new design to ride on
Assembled from completely knocked down kits in India, Honda CB300R can be described as a modern avatar of a classic cafe racer. It comes in Matte Axis Grey Metallic and Candy Chromosphere Red colors and borrows design elements from the top-end Honda Neo Sports Cafe Concept and Honda CB1000R. To note, Honda touts its design as the unique selling point of the 143-kg bike.
Plus, there's immense power
And, it's not just the looks; the new CB300R also delivers on the power front. The bike comes with a liquid-cooled, four-valve, single-cylinder DOHC motor, tuned to produce 30 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 27.4 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox and is capable of delivering a mileage of over 30Km/l, as per Honda.
Other features on CB300R
Among other features, CB300R sports disc brakes on the front and rear with dual ABS (anti-lock braking system) as standard. You also get an inertial measurement unit (IMU) for better front-to-rear distribution of ABS in case of sudden braking, a full-digital LCD instrument panel with gear-shift warning light, and a full LED headlamp and taillamp.
