MicroStrategy rebrands to 'Strategy' as Bitcoin remains core focus
What's the story
In a major rebranding, MicroStrategy, the top US-based business intelligence firm and biggest corporate holder of Bitcoin, has announced that it will now operate under the name "Strategy."
The move, which is aimed at highlighting the company's commitment to cryptocurrency, is described as "a natural evolution of the company, reflecting its focus and broad appeal," in an official press release.
Branding shift
New logo and color scheme reflect Bitcoin commitment
As part of the rebranding, the company has introduced a new logo with a stylized "B," representing Strategy's Bitcoin focus and its distinctive identity as a Bitcoin Treasury Company.
The brand's primary color has also been switched to orange, a color that represents energy, intelligence, and, most importantly, Bitcoin.
This visual overhaul further highlights the company's strategic pivot toward cryptocurrency.
Financial standing
Strategy's Bitcoin holdings and market performance
Strategy now owns a whopping 471,107 Bitcoins, worth nearly $44 billion. The news comes after the company has been buying Bitcoin consistently for 12 weeks.
Its stock (MSTR) is trading at about $342.27 per share, according to The Block.
These numbers demonstrate Strategy's stronghold in the crypto market and its financial health during the rebranding phase.
