Maruti-Suzuki Wagon R CNG LXI launched for Rs. 4.84 lakh
India's leading automobile manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has launched its new Wagon R CNG LXI model in the country. The updated hatchback is available at a starting price of Rs. 4.84 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Wagon R offers revamped interiors along with a more powerful engine and updated safety features. Maruti Wagon R CNG LXI: At a glance
Visually, the Maruti Wagon R CNG LXI looks like the incumbent model with no major exterior changes. With powered front windows, adjustable headlights and smoked headlamps, the 5-seater offers a wheelbase of 2,435mm and rides on 13-inch tubeless wheels. To complement the sharp exteriors, the cabin gets dual-tone interiors, fabric upholstery, air conditioner, a heater, a power steering, and front cabin light.
Under the hood
The Maruti Wagon R CNG LXI is powered by a 998 cc K10B petrol engine which churns out 67bhp of power and 90Nm of peak torque. The engine unit comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox which powers the front wheels. The updated hatchback offers a fuel tank capacity of 32 liters and promises a mileage of 33.54 km/kg (on CNG).
The new Wagon R comes with an improved safety package
In terms of safety, the new Wagon R CNG LXI gets a central locking system, seat belt reminder, rear parking sensors, crash sensors, central locking system, and an anti-theft device. For better road handling, the car comes with ABS+EBD, speed alert system, a driver airbag, as well as a child safety lock for the doors.
Maruti Wagon R comes with free services
Maruti Suzuki is known for providing affordable service options and the 2019 Wagon R is no exception. It comes with a maintenance cost of around Rs. 25,250 for six years with the first three services (after 1,000km, 5,000km, and 10,000km) being free of cost.
