Maruti Suzuki Dzire special-edition launched for Rs. 5.56 lakh
Maruti Suzuki has launched a special edition of its popular Dzire compact sedan in India. The special edition Dzire, based on LXi and LDi models, starts at Rs. 5.56 lakh and will be available in both diesel and petrol models. In terms of upgrades, there aren't any exterior changes but a slew of added equipment at a marginal premium of Rs. 30,000. Here's more.
How does it look?
In terms of updates, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire Special Edition gets front power windows, wheel covers, rear parking sensors and remote locking. The subcompact sedan now also features a 2-DIN audio system, dual-speakers, and Bluetooth connectivity. Moreover, the car also comes equipped with dual airbags, ABS and brake assist as standard across all models of the new Dzire.
Under the hood
The Dzire special edition is offered in both diesel and petrol models. The petrol variant gets a 1.2-liter engine which churns out 82bhp while the diesel model is powered by a 1.3-liter motor which produces 74bhp. The car is available with a 5-speed manual and automatic transmission and offers a fuel efficiency of 22 kmpl on petrol and 28.40 kmpl on the diesel trim.
