Mahindra XUV300 launched in India at Rs. 7.9 lakh
Expanding its product portfolio in India, Mahindra has launched the XUV300 at a starting price of Rs. 7.90 lakh. The all-new subcompact SUV features sharp exteriors with LED fitments and a high-tech cabin with Android Play and Apple CarPlay support. The Mahindra XUV300 comes in four variants and is available in both diesel and petrol engine options. Here's our roundup.
Mahindra XUV300: At a glance
In terms of dimensions, the XUV300 comes with a 180mm of ground clearance and a segment-leading wheelbase of 2620mm. Up front, the car has a sharp-looking grille with angular LED projector headlamps, DRLs, and fog lamps while the sides are highlighted by character lines above the wheel arches and dual-tone roof. On the rear, the XUV300 has edgy tail lamps and a roof-mounted spoiler.
Inside the cabin
On the inside, the cabin gets dual-tone upholstery, dual-zone climate control with memory function, steering mounted controls, chrome accents around the side AC vents, tire pressure monitoring systems, and parking sensors among others. The top-end W8 (O) variant comes with 7 airbags, an electric sunroof, cruise control, and a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Under the hood
The Mahindra XUV300 is offered in 1.2-liter petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engine options. The petrol unit generates 110 bhp of power and 200 Nm of peak torque while the diesel engine churns out 115 bhp of maximum power and a class-leading torque of 300 Nm. In terms of transmission, a 6-speed manual gearbox comes as standard with no automatic unit available for now.
Pricing of all the variants
The XUV300's W4 and W6 petrol variants cost Rs. 7.90 lakh and Rs. 8.75 lakh while the diesel models are priced at Rs. 8.49 lakh and Rs. 9.30 lakh, respectively. Similarly, the W8 and W8 (O) petrol models are available at Rs. 10.25 lakh and Rs. 11.44 lakh, whereas the diesel models are listed at Rs. 10.80 lakh and Rs. 11.99 lakh, respectively.
