KTM RC 125 bookings now open in India: Details here
KTM India has officially teased its much-awaited sports bike KTM RC 125 in India. And now, just days ahead of its official launch, the KTM dealerships across India have started accepting the bookings for the bike at a token amount of Rs. 5,000. Notably, the baby RC is expected to arrive in India in the first week of July itself. Here's our roundup.

KTM RC 125: At a glance
The KTM RC 125 is likely to share the same design as its international model, featuring a fully faired look and orange alloy wheels along with some minor add-ons including a rear tire hugger and a mandatory saree guard. Further, the bike is expected to house an underbelly exhaust unit and will be featuring black and orange graphics.
Engine and performance
The KTM RC 125 is likely to be powered by a 124.7cc liquid cooled single cylinder DOHC engine which will be capable of producing 14.5PS of maximum power at 9,250rpm and 12Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm. Moreover, the bike is expected to have a top speed of 120kmph and is likely to reach a speed of 100kmph in just 17.25 seconds.
KTM RC 125: On the road
The KTM RC 125 is expected to come equipped with 300mm disc brakes on the front and 230mm disc brakes on the rear wheels along with the single channel ABS. For suspension duties, the bike will house telescopic forks on the front side along with a monoshock suspension on the rear.
And, what will be the pocket pinch?
As for pricing, the KTM RC 120 is expected to be priced at around Rs. 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. However, the complete details about its pricing will be shared by the company during the launch event itself. Once launched, the bike will take on the likes of Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 and Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 in the country.
