JioPhone 2's third flash sale slated for September 6
Reliance's latest feature phone, the JioPhone 2, will go on sale for the third time on September 6 starting 12pm via Jio.com. Priced at Rs. 2,999, the JioPhone 2 comes as a successor to the best-selling JioPhone. The phone features a BlackBerry Curve-like design with QWERTY keypad, bumped up internals and offers more functionalities over its predecessor. Here's everything to know.
Here's how you can order JioPhone 2 on September 6
Simply visit Jio.com and click on JioPhone 2 flash sale. Now under the sale page, select JioPhone 2 and enter pincode to proceed. Then, checkout by proving your credentials like name, e-mail id, delivery address, mobile number. Lastly, choose your desired payment mode and pay Rs. 2,999 (non-refundable) to complete your purchase. An order confirmation notification will be sent to you via email/SMS.
Delivery and recharge plans
According to Jio, the phone will be shipped in 5-7 business days. Moreover, the telco is currently offering three unlimited recharge packs which are priced at Rs. 49, Rs. 99 and Rs. 153 and offer 1GB, 14GB, and 42GB of monthly 4G data, respectively.
JioPhone 2: At a glance
JioPhone 2 sports a 2.4-inch QVGA horizontal display with a 0.3MP VGA camera up front and a 2MP snapper on the back. The phone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB). Notably, JioPhone 2 runs KaiOS which supports Google Assistant, YouTube, Facebook and WhatsApp (phased rollout).

The JioPhone 2 packs a 2,000mAh battery and supports 22 Indian languages. In terms of connectivity options, the phone supports dual SIM cards (Nano), 4G VoLTE, VoWi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, FM radio and can project content on any TV via JioMediaCable (sold separately).
