JioPhone 2, the successor to the popular JioPhone, will go on sale for the second time in India today. The phone will be available starting 12pm via a flash sale on Jio.com. Priced at Rs. 2,999, the phone features a BlackBerry Curve-like design with QWERTY keypad, bumped up internals and gets several new functionalities over its predecessor. Here's everything to know.
Here's how you can order JioPhone 2
Simply visit Jio.com and click on JioPhone 2 flash sale. Now under the sale page, select JioPhone 2 and enter pincode to proceed. Then, checkout by proving your credentials like name, e-mail id, delivery address, mobile number. Lastly, choose your desired payment mode and pay Rs. 2,999 (non-refundable) to complete your purchase. An order confirmation notification will be sent to you via email/SMS.
JioPhone 2: At a glance
JioPhone 2 sports a 2.4-inch QVGA horizontal display with a 0.3MP VGA camera up front and a 2MP snapper on the back. The phone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB). Notably, JioPhone 2 runs KaiOS which supports Google Assistant, YouTube, Facebook and WhatsApp (phased rollout).
