Earlier this month, Reliance Jio launched its JioFiber service with attractive plans and bundled freebies, prompting rivals like Airtel and BSNL to revise their plans so as to stay relevant in the competitive market. Interestingly, all three companies offer a few plans under Rs. 1,000. Today, we compare how they fare against each other in terms of broadband speed, data, and price.
JioFiber plans under Rs. 1,000
JioFiber has a couple of plans under Rs. 1,000. Firstly, there's the Rs. 699 'Bronze' base-pack which offers 100Mbps speed and 100GB data per month. There is also a Rs. 849 'Silver' monthly plan which provides 200GB of data at 100Mbps speed. Both plans also come with upto 200GB free data, unlimited domestic calling, free gaming, and 3-month complimentary subscription to JioTV and JioSaavn.

Here's how BSNL fares against JioFiber
Now, let's discuss the plans offered by BSNL. Under Rs. 1,000, BSNL has two plans: a) The Rs. 777 plan which offers upto 50Mbps speed and 500GB per month b) The Rs. 849 monthly plan which comes with 600GB data at upto 50Mbps speed. Notably, the Rs. 849 pack also provides 24 hours unlimited free calling on any network in India.
Airtel V-Fiber plans under Rs. 1,000
Airtel's V-Fiber is the biggest competitor of JioFiber in India. Under Rs. 1,000 price point, the FTTH service has a Rs. 799 'Basic' plan which offers upto 40Mbps speed, 100GB of internet data (plus 200GB bonus data), free calling benefits, and access to Xstream service. The telco also has a Rs. 1,099 Entertainment plan which offers 300GB of high-speed data at upto 100Mbps.
