    India-made Jaguar F-Pace Petrol variant launched at Rs. 63.17 lakh

    What's the story

    Jaguar Land Rover India (JLRI) has launched the petrol variant of the 2019 F-Pace SUV - the company's first ever SUV.

    Priced at Rs. 63.17 lakh, this model will be available in the locally manufactured Prestige variant.

    The petrol derivative F-Pace crossover comes with a host of new features and joins the already available diesel model.

    Jaguar F-Pace: At a glance

    Up front, the F-Pace features blacked-out mesh-grille with the iconic Jaguar insignia, a new front bumper, adaptive LED headlamps, a tapered roof and a bulging bonnet that finishes off the "teardrop" shape.

    On the sides, the Prestige trim features 19-inch alloy wheels, Chrome window surrounds and Chrome side power vents.

    At the rear, there's a prominent haunch with LED tail lights and chromed-out exhausts.

    Interiors

    Inside the cabin

    The 2019 F-Pace gets a more luxurious and tech-laden cabin as compared to the outgoing model.

    Alongside the high-quality leather upholstery and configurable ambient lighting, the cabin now comes with a new 10.2 inch Touch Screen infotainment system, Park and Lane assist, and 360-degree parking sensors among tech features.

    Further, there are chrome switches for the 10-way adjustable leather seats and illuminated metal treadplates.

    Engine and power

    Under the hood

    The petrol variant of the Jaguar F-Pace is powered by a 2-liter Ingenium engine which produces a maximum power of 247 bhp and 365 Nm of peak torque.

    The motor comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission which powers all the four wheels.

    Further, the SUV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 7 seconds with a top speed of 217 kmph.
