iPhone Xs, Xs Max pre-orders start on Flipkart, Airtel, Jio
Apple's recently launched iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max are now up for pre-orders in India via Flipkart, Airtel Store, and Jio.com. The new iPhones come in three storage variants of 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB and are offered in Silver, Gold, and Space Gray colors. Notably, these flagship phones will release in India on September 28. Pricing of iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max
The iPhone Xs starts at Rs. 99,900 for the 64GB base variant. The mid-variant with 256GB storage is priced at Rs. 1,14,900 and the top-end 512GB storage model costs Rs. 1,34,900. Likewise, the iPhone Xs Max costs Rs. 1,09,900 for the 64GB model. Further, the 256GB and 512GB storage models are priced at Rs. 1,24,900 and Rs. 1,44,900, respectively.
Offers and deals: Only on Flipkart and Airtel online store
Flipkart is offering up to Rs. 13,500 discount as part of an exchange offer along with EMI options starting at Rs. 4,149 per month. Moreover, credit card holders of HDFC, Axis (Buzz card) and RBL banks can avail a 5% discount on pre-ordering the phone via Flipkart. Similarly, Airtel is offering 5% cashback on Axis and CITI Bank credit cards on 12/24 months EMI options.
These new iPhones will also be available via offline channels
Apple's India distributors Ingram Micro and Redington have announced that both the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max variants will soon be up for grabs at over 2,500 retail locations including Apple authorized resellers across India.
A look at the specifications of iPhone Xs, Xs Max
The iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max feature 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED Super Retina display, respectively. The Super Retina display, which now offers 60% greater dynamic range of colors, has a 458ppi of pixel density. Further, the new display also gets support for HDR 10, Dolby Vision, 120Hz touch sensitive, and 3D Touch.
Under the hood
Both the new iPhones are powered by the 7nm A12 Bionic chip which has a 6-core CPU, a 4-core GPU and comes paired with an Apple-designed Neural Engine. Notably, these iPhones come in 64GB/256GB/512GB storage options, run iOS 12, and support dual-SIMs (physical SIM + e-SIM). Further, both iPhone Xs and Xs Max offer slightly more battery life than the iPhone X.

Both the iPhone Xs and Xs Max feature a dual rear camera setup but with improved optics, Smart HDR and efficient image processing. The setup has a 12MP (f/1.8) wide-angle camera with OIS, 1.4-micron pixels, paired with a 12MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens with OIS and 2x optical zoom. Up front, both the flagships sport a 7MP TrueDepth camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
