    SBI, IDFC First to discontinue key benefits on these cards

    What's the story

    Starting April 1, 2025, major changes will come into effect for Club Vistara co-branded credit cards issued by IDFC First Bank and State Bank of India (SBI).

    Cardholders will lose out on certain benefits, such as milestone ticket vouchers and renewal perks.

    This was confirmed by the banks in their official communications to customers.

    Card discontinuation

    IDFC First Bank to phase out Club Vistara cards

    IDFC First Bank has announced that it will discontinue milestone benefits for its Club Vistara IDFC First Credit Cardholders from March 31, 2025.

    However, cardholders can continue to accumulate Maharaja Points until March 31, 2026. The card will be fully phased out by then.

    Complimentary vouchers like one Premium Economy Ticket and one one-class upgrade voucher will also be discontinued.

    Benefit reduction

    SBI Card announces similar changes

    SBI Card has also announced similar changes for its Club Vistara SBI Credit Cards and Club Vistara SBI PRIME Credit Cards.

    From April 1, 2025, cardholders will no longer receive economy or premium economy ticket vouchers as renewal benefits.

    The base card's renewal fee will be ₹1,499 while the PRIME card will carry a renewal fee of ₹2,999.

    However, a fee waiver option will be available for customers who renew their cards after March 31, 2025.
