Head to Jio Fiber website and enter your credentials. You'll then receive an OTP on your phone number, which will be required for verification. Once you enter the correct OTP, your application request will get completed. However, a connection will be provided only when your address is selected by the company. When that happens, you will be contacted for installation and other requirements.
What do you get with Reliance Jio Fiber?
The base plan promising 100Mbps of speed will be available at Rs. 700/month, while the top-end plan with 1Gbps speed and access to Jio HomeTV as well as Jio's IoT products will cost Rs. 10,000/month. Subscribers will also get unlimited free voice calling benefits. Further, customers opting for Jio Forever plan will get an HD/4K LED TV and a 4K set-top box for free.
Jio HomeTV is set to change home entertainment space
Notably, Jio Fiber will also power Jio HomeTV, the company's home entertainment solution. The service will be available via Jio set-top box which will be supported by Local Cable Operators. It will offer video calling (via external camera), on-demand services, online gaming, and Mixed Reality (MR) experiences. However, the availability of services will depend on the plan you subscribe to.
Roll-out of the network will be completed within 12 months
At the recent AGM, it was announced that the company has received 50+ million registrations for its broadband service. However, initially, Jio plans to complete the roll-out of the network within 12 months to reach 20 million residences and 15 million businesses across 1,600 towns.
