Hero Maestro Edge 125 launched in India for Rs. 58,500
Hero MotoCorp has finally launched its all-new Maestro Edge 125 in India. The scooter starts at Rs. 58,500 for its drum brakes variant while the disc brake variant starts at Rs 60,000 in the country. The Maestro Edge 125 offers a sporty look with sharp lines, alloy wheels, USB charging, and Hero's start-stop technology for higher fuel efficiency. The scooter has a digital-analog instrument console that shows an analog speedometer along with tripmeter, fuel gauge, and odometer on the digital unit. Further, the Maestro Edge houses an external fuel-filler cap and a service reminder indicator.

Powering the Maestro Edge 125 is a 125 cc Air Cooled OHC engine which is capable of producing 8.85PS of maximum power at 6,750rpm and 10.2Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm.
Hero Maestro Edge 125: Braking and suspension duties
Talking about wheels, the Maestro Edge 125 comes equipped with alloy wheels and tubeless tires. For braking performance, it has disc brakes on the front and drum brakes on the rear side, along with the telescopic fork suspension up front to handle the suspension duties. As far as lighting is concerned, the scooter sports halogen headlamps and LED taillamps.

Hero Maestro Edge 125 starts at Rs. 58,500 (ex-showroom) for its base-variant that does not sport disc-brakes while the one with disc-brakes starts at Rs. 60,000 (ex-showroom). It will lock horns with Honda Grazia, Aprilia SR 125, and TVS NTORQ in the country.
