Utterly butterly news: Indian Railways, Amul may soon work together
The Ministry of Railways is famously active on Twitter, known for promptly responding to the woes of travelers and other grievances. However, it received an uncommon tweet on Monday, that from Amul, suggesting a business proposition. The popular dairy manufacturer wants to use the otherwise defunct refrigerated parcel vans of the Indian Railways to transport its butter across India.
Indian Railways gives a prompt, heartwarming response to Amul
"Amul is interested in using refrigerated parcel vans to transport Amul Butter across India. Request to please advise," the dairy giant had tweeted to the Railways. Living up to the expectations, Indian Railways wasted no time in sending out a heartwarming response. "IR will be utterly butterly delighted to get the taste of India to every Indian," it tweeted back.

Indian Railways will be happy to assist Amul
The refrigerated van service is functional only on specific routes. It was introduced a few years ago for transporting perishable food items. Though most of the refrigerated vans now lie defunct, Indian Railways is willing to repair and use them to assist Amul. The senior manager of the Ahmedabad Division is slated to meet officials from Amul soon to further discuss the offer.
