Samsung Galaxy S8+ prices reduced, now available at Rs. 39,990
With Samsung updating its Galaxy range with latest flagships such as the Galaxy S9/S9+ and the Note 9, old flagships are bound to get some price cuts. And the first in line is 2017's Samsung Galaxy S8+ which has received a massive price reduction of Rs. 12,000. It is now available at just Rs. 39,990. Here's more on this development.

New prices of S8+ have not yet updated online
The new prices may soon reflect across all sale channels including offline and online. Notably, on Samsung India e-store, the phone is still priced at Rs. 51,900 while on Amazon, the Galaxy S8+ is listed at Rs. 45,999. That said, the new prices may reflect soon considering Mahesh Telecom has a decent record when it comes to leaking price cuts, especially for Samsung smartphones.
The new price is for the S8+ 4GB/64GB variant only
The Samsung Galaxy S8+ comes in two configurations - one with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and another with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. However, the new price tag of Rs. 39,990 is for the 4GB/64GB variant only.

The S8+ features a 6.2-inch QHD (1440×2960p) AMOLED display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, dual-curved edges and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone is powered by an Exynos 8895 processor, paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage (expandable up to 512GB). The IP 68-rated S8+ packs a 3,500mAh battery, runs Android Oreo-based Samsung Experience and comes with 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port.

The Galaxy S8+ sports a single rear 12-megapixel camera with an f/1.7 aperture, dual-pixel autofocus, and Phase Detection Auto Focus. On the front, the phone gets an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/1.7 aperture.
