State-wise bank holidays in September 2024
On September 4, banks will be closed in Assam for Tirubhav Tithi of Srimanta Sankardeva.
Ganesh Chaturthi on September 7 will see banks shut in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, as well as Goa.
Karma Puja/First Onam on September 14 will lead to closures in Kerala and Jharkhand due to it being the second Saturday of the month.

Milad-un-Nabi or Id-e Milad (Birthday of Prophet Mohammad) on September 16 will result in bank closures in several states including Gujarat, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana among others.
Banks in Sikkim and Chhattisgarh will be closed for Indrajatra/Id-e-Milad (Milad-Un-Nabi) on September 17.
