In a bid to take on Amazon's Freedom Sale, Walmart-owned Flipkart has announced 'The Big Freedom Sale'.
The Flipkart sale starts from August 10, a day after Amazon's sale, and ends on August 12.
Under the sale, the e-commerce giant will offer up to 80% discount across several product categories.

Under the sale, Flipkart will offer 'unmatched deals' on several mobiles from top brands like Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi among others.
The e-commerce giant is also offering up to 70% off on home appliances and up to 80% on electronics and gadgets such as laptops, cameras, tablets, and smart devices among others.
Moreover, Citibank credit card holders can avail a cashback of up to 10%.

Top deals to look out for during the sale
Flipkart will offer 'Rush Hour' deals that start on August 10 (the first day) from 12am-2am, while 'Blockbuster' and 'Price Crash' deals will refresh every eight hours throughout the sale.
Further, there will be hourly deals that will be updated every hour during the 72-hour sale period.
Lastly, a 'Freedom Countdown', between 7:47pm-8:18pm, will be held daily with crazy deals across product categories.
