Airtel's new offer: Unlimited calls, 112GB data at Rs. 999
With Jio providing call and internet services at throwaway prices, other telecom service providers have been forced to slash down their rates to ensure survival. The latest to give in to the cut-throat pricing war is Airtel. It is now offering unlimited voice calls and 112GB 4G data for 28 days at Rs. 999. Customers will be able to use 4GB data per day.
Only for select customers, terms and conditions apply
The plan competes with Jio's Rs. 999 plan, which provides unlimited voice calls and 90GB data for 90 days. Users can also avail a 50% discount if they choose to recharge through Airtel Payments Bank. However, the plan is available only for select customers. You can check if you are eligible for plan on Airtel's recharge portal.
Other Airtel plans catering to the needs of Digital India
Airtel offers several other plans that are competitively priced at Rs. 349, Rs. 399, Rs. 499 and Rs. 799. They provide internet data ranging from 1GB to 3GB a day. Another plan gives unlimited calls and 6GB data for Rs. 899 a month.
One more follows suit: Vodafone also offering lucrative plans
Airtel isn't the only one fighting Jio's competitive pricing. In order to save its rapidly declining subscriber base, Vodafone India recently introduced a new Rs. 345 pack for its prepaid customers. Valid for 28 days, the 'festive cheer' offer gives users unlimited voice calls and 28GB free data at 1GB per day.
