Jio'>Reliance Jio has started to roll-out a new Digital Pack wherein prepaid Jio customers will get 2GB data per day for free. The Digital Pack, which expires July 30, is available for select Jio users, according to reports. Further, this free data is being offered over and above the benefits available under the plan opted by the customer. Here's more about it.
Everything to know about the Jio Digital Pack
As mentioned earlier, the pack is available for select prepaid Jio users only and customers can check the eligibility of their packs in My Jio app. Moreover, the pack can be activated if a user has subscribed to a recharge plan. That said, Jio's criterion for selecting the numbers is unclear. Also, information about which plans the offer is bundled up with is scarce.
Recently, Jio also rolled out its JioPhone Monsoon Offer
Recently, Jio introduced the Monsoon Hungama offer under which customers can exchange their feature phone for JioPhone by paying Rs. 1,095. Under the offer, feature phone users (2G/3G/4G) can exchange their devices for a JioPhone 2 by paying Rs. 501 (refundable after 3-years), and a non-refundable mandatory amount of Rs. 594 that will be used for six consecutive monthly recharges of Rs. 99.
What the JioPhone 2 offers under the hood
The JioPhone 2, which sports a QWERTY keypad and a dedicated voice command button, will have a 2.40-inch display. The dual-SIM phone will run on the indigenous KaiOS, and will come with a 2MP rear camera, a VGA front camera, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB internal storage, expandable to 128GB. It will support LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, and FM, and several apps.
