Elon Musk reveals plans to drink coffee on Mars
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk on Monday pulled off the "toughest launch ever" of the company's Falcon Heavy rocket, but that's not what we are here to talk about. As that happened, Musk revealed his plans to sip coffee on Mars when he "occupies" the red planet. He changed his display picture from the 'alcoholic monkey' to an astronaut sipping coffee on Mars. Here's more.
Musk revealed his on-Mars coffee plans on Twitter
He replied to his own tweet from Monday and wrote, "On Mars, I like to drink my coffee in this mug," along with a link directing followers to an 'Occupy Mars Heat Sensitive Terraforming Mug' worth $15 (Rs. 1,040). Apparently, Musk is just using the Falcon launch to sell merchandise. But if you are interested in them, you should know they're out of stock!

Here's how Twitter reacted to Musk's OTT plans
While several Twitter users discussed the launch with Musk, a Twitter user wrote, "When u plug your merch (merchandise) to fund your project." Others mocked Musk for allegedly using a picture of a blood moon in the 'Occupy Mars' tweet and also criticized his electric automotive company Tesla's inconsistent finances. Replying to a follower's tweet, Musk wrote, "Colonizing Mars one mug at a time!"
Still wondering what's the Falcon Heavy rocket launch?
On Monday night, SpaceX launched the Falcon Heavy rocket- the most powerful rocket in use today- from Florida's Cape Canaveral in the dead of night, carrying 24 satellites for different contractors. The launch demonstrated the first reuse and landing of Heavy's two side rocket boosters. However, the center core booster crashed into the ocean instead of landing on a drone-ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
