Shark Tank judge calls Elon Musk a modern-day Batman
Kevin O'Leary, a prominent figure from the popular TV show Shark Tank, has drawn parallels between Tesla CEO Elon Musk and fictional superhero Bruce Wayne aka Batman. In a recent interview with Fox News, O'Leary expressed his admiration for Musk's accomplishments. He stated, "I think that guy is a modern-day Bruce Wayne," likening him to Batman—the Gotham City's caped crusader.
Personal connection and admiration for Musk
O'Leary revealed a personal connection to Musk during the interview, stating, "You know, I have to disclose something. I am a huge fan of Elon Musk, and for full disclosure, my son works for him and loves his job at Tesla." This disclosure underscores O'Leary's admiration for the Tesla CEO beyond his professional achievements.
Take on Musk's communication style and achievements
Despite acknowledging that some people might not appreciate Musk's communication style, O'Leary emphasized his accomplishments. He suggested that more individuals like Musk in government could help bridge the current political divide in the US. "If we could get more Elon Musks in the government, this country would not be in the situation it's in, divided so much," he said.
Musk's stance on public service and potential role
Musk has previously dismissed rumors about a potential role in a future Trump administration. However, during a recent livestream with former President Donald Trump, he expressed interest in serving on a government efficiency commission if Trump were to win the election. "I think it would be great to just have a government efficiency commission that ... ensures that the taxpayers' hard-earned money is spent in good way, and I'd be happy to help out on such a commission," Musk said.
