Italian superbike maker Ducati is all set to launch Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro in India on July 9. The all-new Enduro retains the mechanical specifications of Multistrada 1260. However, it comes with several off-road-specific features including lowered seats and handlebars along with an off-road kit. In India, it is expected to be priced at around Rs. 20 lakh. Here's more.

The upcoming Multistrada Enduro sports a naked body, featuring teardrop-shaped twin-LED headlamps along with the LED taillamps. The off-road model comes with reduced height and handlebars along with the tubeless tires, and spoked wheels. Moreover, it gets a 5-inch digital instrument panel which can be paired with your phone via Bluetooth and an optional multimedia system.
Engine and performance
The Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro is powered by a 1,262cc liquid-cooled Ducati Testastretta DVT engine which is capable of producing 158PS of power at 9,500 rpm and 128Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and comes with Ducati quick shifter for easy gear shifting. Moreover, it offers four riding modes: Urban, Sport, Touring and Enduro.
Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro: On the road
The Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro comes equipped with disc brakes on the front and rear wheels along with cornering ABS and traction control. To handle the suspension duties, the bike houses Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) package which comprises fully adjustable upside-down forks on the front along with a monoshock unit on the rear.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro is expected to arrive at around Rs. 20 lakh in India. Once launched, it will lock horns with rivals such as BMW R 1250 GS Adventure and Triumph Tiger 1200 XCx.
