Ducati Hypermotard 950 to launch in India on June 12
Italian superbike maker Ducati is all set to launch Ducati Hypermotard 950 in India on June 12. The new Hypermotard, which replaces the Ducati Hypermotard 939, comes with a slightly bigger motor, a revised chassis, and a bunch of modern features. To recall, the bike debuted last November during the EICMA show in Milano, Italy. Here is our roundup.
Ducati Hypermotard 950: At a glance
The Ducati Hypermotard 950 comes with a sports-naked body, sharp features, slimmer seats, dual exhausts, and an attractive paint job. Talking about electronic features, the bike offers a 4.3-inch TFT instrument console along with Ducati's Multimedia System that will enable riders to answer incoming calls while driving and change music via the switchgear. Lastly, it offers three riding modes: Sport, Touring, and Urban.
Under the hood
Talking about performance, the Ducati Hypermotard 950, mated to a six-speed gearbox, is powered by a 950cc Liquid Cooled L-Twin engine which is capable of producing 114bhp of power at 9,000rpm and a peak torque of 96Nm at 7,250rpm.
Ducati Hypermotard 950: On the road
Further, the Ducati Hypermotard 950 houses 325mm and 245mm Disc brakes on the front and rear wheels, respectively. Also, it offers dual-channel ABS, wheelie control, and traction control for a better grip on the road. Moreover, the bike is based on the Trellis frame and uses fully adjustable Ohlins suspension on both the front and rear sides.
