After Tata Sky, Dish TV reduces price of set-top box
In a bid to expand its presence, Dish TV has slashed the prices of its HD set-top box (STB) in India. After the latest revision, the Dish TV NXT HD set-top box is available for Rs. 1,590 as against its earlier price of Rs. 1,649. Additionally, the company has also announced a couple of attractive introductory offers for new subscribers. Here's everything to know.
Dish TV NXT HD STB: For HD viewing
If you are using one of the latest TVs with an HDMI port, you should get the Dish TV NXT HD STB. This STB brings support for 1080i resolution channels along with 16:9 aspect ratio and offers superior sound output as compared to the standard STB. Moreover, this set-top box also allows you to choose between Hindi and English language for system navigation.
The company has also introduced attractive offers for new subscribers
Meanwhile, if you are looking to get a new Dish TV subscription, now is a good time to opt for an HD connection. As part of an introductory offer, the company is offering new users one month of free subscription with the NXT HD STB. Additionally, Dish TV is also providing coupons worth Rs. 2,000 with the HD STB.
Recently, Tata Sky also reduced prices of its set-top boxes
To recall, Tata Sky has also reduced the prices of its HD and SD set-top boxes in India by Rs. 400. With the price revision, the Tata Sky SD set-top box is now available at Rs. 1,499 whereas the HD set-top box is priced at Rs. 1,699. Notably, these prices are applicable if you buy from Tata Sky's official website.
Meanwhile, Airtel Digital TV has also slashed STB prices
Rivaling Tata Sky and other DTH service providers, Airtel has also reduced the prices of its HD and SD set-top boxes by Rs. 200. The new prices are now effective across all Airtel stores.
