Gupta's arrest marks significant turn in BharatPe-Grover dispute
Gupta's arrest signifies a major development in the ongoing legal tussle between BharatPe and Grover. The conflict was sparked by Grover's dismissal from the company in 2022 over allegations of financial misconduct and misuse of company resources. Meanwhile, authorities are expected to seek Gupta's custody for further investigation into this case. This investigation adds another layer of complexity to the legal challenges faced by Grover and his associates.
Delhi HC grants Grover permission for international travel
In a related development, the Delhi High Court has recently allowed Grover and his wife, Madhuri Jain Grover, to travel abroad. This decision comes after the couple challenged a Look Out Circular (LOC) issued by the EOW that restricted their movement. The court has permitted them to visit the UK from September 28 to October 7 and Doha from October 17 to 20.
