Amid coronavirus lockdown, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max sale postponed
What's the story
The newly-launched Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, which was set to go on sale tomorrow, will now be available at a later date.
Xiaomi has postponed the first sale of the handset due to multiple states lockdown brought in place to contain the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the sale of Redmi Note 9 Pro is still happening as scheduled i.e. today at 12 noon.

Here's recalling the Redmi Note 9 Pro series
To recall, both the handsets offer the same hardware and aesthetics including a punch-hole design, slim bezels, an all-glass splash-proof body, and a side-mounted physical fingerprint scanner.
Both models also feature a 6.67-inch LCD screen with Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. They also come in the same color schemes: Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black.
Cameras

The Max model sports a quad-lens camera setup including a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The regular Redmi Note 9 Pro also gets a similar arrangement but with a 48MP primary sensor.
On the front, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has a 32MP selfie snapper while the regular model gets a 16MP shooter.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro series is powered by a Snapdragon 720G processor, paired with 6GB/8GB RAM on the Max model and 4GB/6GB of RAM on the standard variant. As for storage, both versions come with up to 128GB built-in storage.
Under the hood, they pack a 5,020mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support on the Max model and 18W fast-charging on the standard variant.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro costs Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant and Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB/128GB model. The Max version is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the entry-level 6GB/64GB variant, Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB/128GB model, and Rs. 18,999 for the 8GB/128GB option.
