Ford, Audi and 4 others will skip Auto Expo 2018
Till now, it's been known that six automobile firms are not going to attend the Delhi Auto Expo 2018, South Asia's largest show. The reason for their absence ranges from non-availability of India-specific models that can be showcased in the show to cutting costs due to weak sales in the recent months. Here's more about it.
What's the reason behind it?
Ford India, Volkswagen India, Skoda India, Audi India, Nissan India, Ducati India and General Motors India will be a no show at Auto Expo 2018. An automobile executive said that firms are skipping due to poor sales and the fact that half of their profits from this Expo went to the government in form of taxes. Skoda and Volkswagen have confirmed their absence.
