BSNL updates Abhinandan-151 prepaid plan to offer 1.5GB daily data
BSNL has updated its 'Abhinandan-151' prepaid recharge plan to pass on more data benefits to its subscribers. As part of the revision, the state-run telco is now offering 1.5GB of daily data with the Rs. 151-worth unlimited pack. Notably, the updated plan is applicable across all BSNL circles where the Abhinandan-151 plan is available. Here's all about it.
A look at the benefits of Abhinandan-151 prepaid plan
The Abhinandan-151 plan has been revised to offer 1.5GB daily data as against the previous limit of 1GB. The plan also comes with 100 daily SMSes, and unlimited local, STD, as well as roaming calls to any network within India, including MTNL-managed Delhi and Mumbai circles. Further, the validity of this plan is 180 days but the freebies are valid for just 24 days.
The plan is available as a promotional offer
The Abhinandan-151 plan comes as a promotional offer that is available for 90 days, starting June 13. It is available for all new, migrated, and existing BSNL connections. Meanwhile, those who recharge between August 14 to September 13 will get 90-days extra validity.
BSNL recently introduced a new Rs. 1,188 long-term prepaid plan
Separately, just last month, BSNL introduced a new Rs. 1,188 Marutham unlimited prepaid plan. It comes with unlimited voice calling across the country along with 5GB of data and a total of 1,200 SMSes for a validity of 345 days. Once the 5GB FUP limit is exhausted, BSNL will charge 25p/MB.
Currently, this plan is available in Tamil Nadu only
Currently, the Rs. 1,188 Marutham plan is live only in Tamil Nadu and will be available on a promotional basis for 90 days. It also remains unclear if BSNL would bring the plan to other telecom circles or not.
