This BSNL broadband plan offers 500GB data, free Hotstar subscription
BSNL has updated its catalog of broadband plans to introduce a new pack for its DSL as well as Bharat Fiber subscribers. Dubbed as Super Star 500, the new plan promises to offer 500GB FUP data at up to 50Mbps download speed along with a complimentary subscription of Hotstar Premium. Here's all about it.
What are the benefits of BSNL's Super Star 500 plan?
As reported by Telecom Talk, the BSNL Super Star 500 plan provides 500GB FUP data to DSL and Bharat Fiber customers at speeds of upto 10Mbps and upto 50Mbps, respectively. After the FUP limit is exhausted, customers get unlimited internet access but at a reduced speed of 2Mbps. However, unlike other BSNL plans, there is no annual billing option available for this broadband pack.
Super Star 500 is available across all circles in India
As for availability, the state-run telco is offering this Super Star 500 plan across all circles except for Andaman and Nicobar. Further, the subscribers of this plan will also be required to pay one month's rental as the security deposit.
The plan also offers free Hotstar Premium membership
Alongside the data benefit, the Super Star 500 broadband plan also offers its subscribers a complimentary annual subscription of Hotstar Premium. Additionally, the plan offers unlimited voice calls to any network within India. As for pricing, the plan will cost you Rs. 949 per month, which is Rs. 50 less than the yearly membership of Hotstar that comes bundled for free.
BSNL's Super Star 300 plan also provides free Hotstar subscription
Meanwhile, if you are a light-to-medium Internet user, there's also a Super Star 300 plan which offers 300GB of data every month at 50Mbps speed along with unlimited domestic calling and free Hotstar Premium annual membership. This plan is priced at Rs. 749 per month.
