Bajaj Avenger Street 160 is now available in India
The all-new Avenger Street 160 from Bajaj Avenger line-up is now available in India at Rs. 81,000 (ex-showroom). The deliveries for the bike have started through select dealerships across the country. The new model replaces Bajaj Avenger Street 180 that is yet to receive ABS. Talking about looks and design
In terms of design, the Avenger Street 160 comes with a cruiser body, sharp features, and an attractive paint job. The bike features a digital instrument console, along with a bulb taillamp, and LED DRLs (Day time running lights). Further, it is available in two color options - Red and Black.
Engine and Mileage
The Bajaj Avenger 160 is powered by a 160.3 cc oil cooled engine which is capable of producing 15.5PS of maximum power and 14.6Nm of peak torque. The bike comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and promises a mileage of 48kmpl.
Bajaj Avenger Street 160 comes with single-channel ABS
When it comes to braking performance, the Bajaj Avenger Street 160 features disc brakes on front, and drum brakes on the back side. The bike comes equipped with ABS to avoid skidding on the road. For suspension duties, the bike offers telescopic forks up front and a dual-shock setup on the rear side.
Pricing and availability
The Bajaj Avenger Street 160 is priced Rs. 81,037 (ex-showroom), and competes with the much expensive Suzuki Intruder in the entry-level cruiser segment. The bookings for the bike are now live in India, while select dealers have already started the deliveries.
