Amazon Prime membership for Rs. 499 only till October 31
Are you an Amazon Prime member? If not, you may want to hurry if you intend on becoming one because the e-commerce giant is doubling its membership fee from Wednesday. Starting November, you will have to pay Rs. 999 and not Rs. 499 for the annual Amazon Prime membership. Yes, you have just one day left.

Prime Video: Amazon's pocket-friendly answer to Netflix
One of the most-loved perks of becoming a member is getting instant access to Amazon Prime Video. Much like Netflix and Hotstar, it offers a selection of movies and TV shows. Though it doesn't have as much content as the other two, it charges for a year what Netflix charges for a month (Rs. 499), making it more viable and friendly for Indian pockets.
Amazon pledged to invest $5bn to expand business in India
Amazon's prime membership and video service was introduced in India only in 2016. Earlier this year, it pledged to invest $5 billion to expand its business in India, which has around 400 million internet users currently.
